Headwall Forest. If you’re feeling very daring any of the chutes off Fantasy Ridge.
If skiing or snowboarding conditions are not ideal, what else is there to do at your resort?
We have nearly 20 kilometers of groomed Nordic trails for both skating and classic skiing and 10 kilometers of snowshoe trails that meander from the Nordic Center to Solitude Village. We offer four dining options and two bars in Solitude Village. We also have an outdoor ice rink in the village.
What is your biggest event of the year?
Taste of the Wasatch which is a food festival held in the summer.
What makes your resort unique/what is your claim to fame?
Escape from the fast pace life to this special undiscovered gem with rugged, awe-inspiring scenery. We offer a genuine, high quality ski and ride experience. Less crowded and more ski time.
When is the best time of year to ski or snowboard at the resort?
The season runs from mid to late November into Mid April.
How would you describe the culture or environment of the resort?
Casual, friendly, authentic and less crowded.
Are you more known for park, powder, or groomers?
We are known for powder first and foremost, then for our wide-open groomers.
What would you say the ratio of snowboarders to skiers is?
30% boarders, 70% skiers.
